FITNESS UPDATE

Great news! I want to thank GI LEAN / FITNESS for coming on board this year and sponsoring all 10 divisions – all expenses paid – to Las Vegas, the International Fitness Finals, held there this year in November , so a total of R20 000 for each division, R200 000 in total and we will be getting exclusive Super Sport coverage.

The divisions this year will be, Ms Bikini, Men’s Model, Ms Figure, Mr Physique, Women’s 35, only one line up Men’s 35+, Ms Physique, Mr Fitness, Ms Fitness and Couples . Only the top 10 in each division will be selected to go through to the finals from Bikini, Model, 35+ and Mr Physique divisions. All routine divisions will either be selected at Body Beautiful in July or via photos that need to be mailed to us no later than middle July. Once you have been selected from there, there will be no more eliminations done as you all have to be in the group opening dance – and the theme is “Street wise”, so this time around you all need to bring you won outfits, please – pussy cat dolls, street dancing , step up – all those kind of outfits will do.

The whole stage will be done up this year in a street set up with a street lamp that some of our dancers will be using in their routines, even have some pole dancers this year J and the rehearsals will all be done at the Casino itself, in the Market Hall.

After the pre-judging s done on the Friday, we will all have supper in the Market hall, so entry fees will be R250 to cover the cost for that too, as Super Sport will be doing some interviews then too and we will be calling out the top 10 to go through to the finals that Saturday. Entry fee the for the top 10 will be R300 which includes the show DVD.

Outfits will be swimsuits for the ladies, plain black hot pants for the men, for the body rounds, and then any Sports theme for your fashion round. Routine athletes will do bikini / hot pants and their theme outfits as per their own choice, as done before.
