Bryony Whitfield
January, our cover model and winner of the Ms Bikini 2008, Bryony Whitfield shows us just what a bikini girl needs to look like. Not too muscular but still show that you do go to gym and that you have managed your diet in order fro you to have a well toned body and good symmetry. If you can look at previous shows under the bikini sections, you will see what the Bikini girls bodies' look like.
So you want to compete as a Bikini girl?
(1) You need to get your EATING PROGRAM sorted, as this is 80% of the battle. If you go under my successes stories you can see there how you need to change your diet in order for the body fat to come down. If this is all to confusing for you, I do online diets at R500 once off, then I will get you ready for any competition, with the correct eating program, changes that are needed as you go a long, different training programs required, supplementation and also show-preparation.
The forms you need to fill in are attached here, so fill those in and fax or mail them to me and we can get going. With the forms I also need two before pictures mailed to me in .jpeg form. If you want to start changing your body, you need to see exactly where you are and so do I.
(2) To get a bikini body, this training program will also get you going in the right direction. The BUTT workout you can choose one of them and do it on one of your upper body training days. I bit of toning with weights or machines and cardio at a low intensity, fat burning phase is still the best, as you burn more fat calories in this zone, rather than the carbs that are used in the Fitness zone, which can throw you off the eating plan. You want the two to work together, not against one another.
(3) Because the Pageants are not just about the Body, as most of the other federation competitions are, you need to have a GREAT stage personality. If you want to do good, especially overseas, you need to learn not to be shy.
One has to project 150% on stage, for the judges and audience to see it as 100%, so the more the better, unfortunately, so if it is a weak point, then do yourself a favour and go for some modelling lesions. Any modelling agency offers ramp work and they will show you how to walk on stage and get that convinced you need. To be a successful Fitness Model, you need to know how to carry yourself on stage and also in front of the camera, as that is the part that lands you on the cover of the Fitness magazines. So invest in yourself, and you will see it will pay off.
(4) Doing things professionally always gives a better impression, so if you are serious about being a Fitness Model, then do it professionally. Get your body into the best shape ever and get a professional portfolio done by a professional photographer. It will also teach you how to move in front of the camera and that will also give you the confidence on stage and just in life in general.
5) Your grooming does count on stage, so make sure you hair and make-up is done professionally. If you don't have the know how, then rather get someone that can do it professionally. There are a lot of professionals in all these fields out there that we can point you into their direction, so if all else fails, send us a mail and we will help you.
Till next month where we will be helping the Model Guys with some tips.
